housing near doha

You will get a studio for around 2500QAR i believe. You will find plenty of ads in the local newspaper. IF you are lucky enough you wmay even get a decent 2 bed room apartment though its a little bit difficult as the average price for a 2-3 bedroom is in the range of 4000QR to 6000QR.

most 2 brdm. unfurnished flats go for about 6500QAR, I do know someone who picked up a studio flat for 4500QAR a couple months back. But, you definately will have to share with someone for a housing allowance of 3000QAR.

what are al jazeera employee accomodations like? have you got a clue? joining Al Jazeera Int soon and no idea what kind of accomodation they'll offer for singles? studios?

I really don't know Ahmad, my villa was furnished, I would say 3000Qr for basic furnishings.

Tendai, anywhere from 1600QR for my Hyundai Tuscon to 3000QR for a higher end car. They are good to have here, and it only costs about 40 QR to fill them (at least mine).

Can you give me a ball park idea of roughly what these SUV's cost. Nissan Murano, Infiniti FX, Toyota Prado, Mercedes RX, and BMw X5? Try as I may, I am yet to find any car dealers with prices on their website. Apprently conventional wisdom has it that an SUV is the ideal vehicle out there so thats what I'll be looking for.

Cars here are cheap, apartments aren't, especially single flats. YOur air conditioner should be included, as for furnishing, haven't a sweet clue, don't know your tastes, sorry.

i prefer to get a single flat as i dont like to share rooms u know but wt u mean with old ones? i mean u got my job description as a medical representative not fixed in a place for work u know ...its just being arround hospital and polyclinics so there is no need to live in a specific place beside the car will make it easier?

would u tell me plz how much does it cost to furnish the flat aprrox. i mean bed, aircondition and essential things ...

All relative DG I think that is important. Plus mine is 2 beds so he could find somewhere similar and share with someone. A lot of people share here and he is single so no problem

Ahmad you can easily find somewhere for 3k. Especially if you share with someone. If you are a single man then this is easily enough to arrange. But if you want somewhere on your own then for 3k you can get a single flat in some of the older parts of town without difficulty.

As for your car allowance I bought a brand new mitsubishi pajero with a bank loan (repayable over 4 years) and my monthly repayment is QR2100.

So I would imagine that you would be able to find plenty of things for QR1500 perhaps toyota camry type cars

Yes but 6000QR would still be out of his price range. And I can't imagine a flat for 3000QR would be very nice.

Dweller, I forgot the names of those places, but I would say a half an hour at the least not counting on traffic, and Wakrah is practically part of Doha now, so it's no cheaper.

Not true ahmad. My apartment costs 6000 and is big and nice. You can get them for 3000 in a number of areas in town

Yes it is triple your housing allowance because your company is trying to screw you (sorry). The nearest place to Doha is an hour a way, that's Al Khor, and there are no flats there that I have ever seen.

and i didnt mention to rent i mean to have a car loan or so with allowance of 1500 QR per month what would that be?

Apartments are 9000QR a month or more. You can rent a Nissan Sunny for 1500QR and you will pay roughly 1500QR a month on food. This does not include bills. I have no idea how much it will cost to furnish a place but probably quite a bit.
