I heard a lots of Malaysian kids in QIS (QatarIntl. School). I don't really know if they are good or not as my daughter go to the french school. If you know where you will be staying, it will be more easy as to go to QIS in the morning and afternoon were too difficult(just like raining in KL after working hours, if you know what I mean.

I have 3 children in the school age, grade 5, 7 and 9. They are in an International School Group of Saudi Arabia which is in the past named as British-American International School. I would really appreciated if anybody can advise me of which school will be the most suitable for them. I am malaysian plan to move to Doha by june 2008. What is QIS reputation and education quality level among all international school in Doha?

don't enroll your kids to QIS they pretend they have highly qualified teachers but not all of them. They hire people who used to be a maid without good background or qualification, if only they will investigate and see for themselves her documents. just because she's married to an English man teacher that makes her qualified too! I moved my kids to Doha College after being inform with this matter.

Do all the school have this long waiting list queue?

Which of them are not? Any good ones?

I think it's very difficult to get your son in now.

Join school at midterm?

Thanks e46M3,

I finally finish all the paperwork to join QP at December.

Since it is still a long way to new school terms (September),

i am wondering whether my son can join a school in midterm?

Anybody has this experience?

Thanks for sharing

There are many international schools, the problem is finding places so close to the beginning of the term.
