Pizza Hut Scratch&Win

Mostly rubbish, don't you think.

Went today with the kids, scratched 4 cards: 3 kids watches and a 4 pack of Sterling water which is just repackaged horrible Rayyan water.

The kids were excited. Then they got the watches. "Oh," said my 5-year-old, "it's a fake."
And they stink of rubber.

How about the Tribune taking it up? Where are the hacks on this site?

Sorry, Thank you for the Lambo... site.

AND the other one was about Pizza Places. So I was enquiring and mentioning about Round-Table-Pizza, I like their garlic twist with garlic sauce in UAE.

Thank you

They have Papa Johns pizza in Bahrain and Muscat (no doubt the UAE too but I can't remember seeing them). Why can't we have them here?

That's how. Yesterdays's Gallardo in front of Starbucks. Check my post above about feeding the kids.

I don't know how this conversation turned to lamborghinis, but that was an awesome one outside Starbucks.

hmmm. strange although my husband never did take me out for a pizza...I wonder why???

Although I like what the other gal did by giving it to her driver. Kudos to her!

well,we went for pizza hut,it's pretty good in us and we haven't been here long.On the second time around small pizza was not just big enough for 4 of us(even 2 were under age of 4),so I thought our driver would enjoy it at least(hopefully,he was not in US eating Pizza Hut there and cannot tell the difference).

I thought they relate to this thread with today's Starbucks' Lambo mentioned above.

I can fill a whole new post with exotica for you if you like. Just name your pleasure.

Lucky you...I went out with some friends and one of the vouchers was for a free small pizza which we agreed we would use on the next lunch run.

However, it seemed our friend who was keeping it decided to go out with his wife!!!!

:)

P.S. E, cool lambo pics but how about putting them in a new thread instead!

If you think the Gallardo is monstrous you should see the Murcielago.

Look at that butt!

This one was driven by an idiot

We saw the Lamborghini in front of Starbucks too :) We went to Le Notre for lunch and saw it on our way out. It was amazingly monstrous! :D

Biella at the Mall, that's where we had the good pizza.

The we watched Monster House. Excellent.

What I meant was for every 29 riyals you spend you get a card. While they might like to think they're giving it for free I believe I'm paying for it. Just like when you redeem some airmiles for a vacuum cleaner they treat you like you're getting it for free while you've paid for it several times over.

I agree with you on Pizza Express but the problem is location, City Center or Landmark. We also had another good pizza but I can't for the life of me remember where. Today I had picked up the kids from school and Ramada signals was the closest place. There was no parking near Crepaway or the eateries around it. Saw a silver Lamborghini Gallardo in front of Starbucks which they loved.

I've taken them to Layali which again didn't impress, Shebestan which is a far cry from what it used to be, Moon Palace which they liked (steak teriyaki and steamed rice) plus the occasional mac and cheese at home. I'm at my wits end as what to feed them for the next few days.

I never want this gross stuff, Fish. I daresay neither do you. Extra salami you say? ;-)

very true, QC. and it's all you can eat & drink at lunchtime too!

though i would have to say that as tempting as a pizza with salmon & zucchini topping might be, sometimes you just want your typical double-cheese-layered greasy pizza with extra salami.

If you want decent pizza go to Pizza Express :^)

i find the quality of food at Pizza Hut to be subpar at most. at least compared to the other branches in the GCC area.

I also think it's rather hilarious that their menus are crowded with items they almost never serve.

By Qatarcat• 6 Sep 2006 20:29
Qatarcat

Oh well I didn't know you actually had to buy the card. I thought Pizza Hut was giving them away as free bonuses.

Something a bit more than that, QC for the 29 riyals per card. Even the KFC watch they were giving a couple of months ago elicited oohs and ahs from the kids.

But it's the Sterling chain. They suck.

I only went there today because we're in temporary bachelorhood and the kids need to eat.

And what did you expect from a scratch card scheme where everyone is a winner?

:P

By anonymous• 6 Sep 2006 18:59

My daughter got a kids lunchbox and flask with the scratchcard. As soon as we took off the wrapper the clips started falling apart. Plus the plastic is so cheap you would probably get cancer if you drank from it....so I told my daughter they were toys for her dolls!
