SERIOUSLY, STOP. EPISODE III.

xena made a point that there are people who dont like threads being hijacked, it is a valid point and people already apologized and left. they didnt show any indication that they need convincing that xena had a point. flame AA, he seems to like it...hi aa!:))

to people who feel guilty thinking they had the power to make these people leave. dont feel guilty. these are mature people who also have brains like anyone else, it's their own decision. we are not really that powerful as we think we are sometimes.

to people who are still talking about how upset they are about dg, qc, fish, giasi and others who left, please stop. they'r no longer here to defend themselves, it's lame. it's like kicking a dead horse...will add 10 inches to your hips, subtracts 25 years to your physical age, and again adds 5 points to your fug factor.

if u still feel upset with them...hug a bear. or drop by their blogs and say it to their face..err...avatar.

is it really easier to judge ppl than laugh with them? this is a rhetorical question. if u have the need to google rhetoric, it basically translates to i dont care.

next time somebody does something here that you think is wrong and too much information for ur own butt that you think is important and upsets you, please let them know right away. dont let it rot inside and wait when u feel safer in numbers, dont be scared that people will measure ur butt size or look for sticks in there, it's kinda gross. the butts not u. they may or may not heed it but at least u were honest about it. you are just half as guilty for thinking it's wrong yet not doing anything constructive about it. otherwise, forgeddaboutit.

here's another take at it, do not wait for someone to take a stand, and then go behind her all indignant and beat the crap out out of it for all its worth long after ppl already apologized and left, there'r a lot of names for it but virtue is not one of them.

some ppl are open about what happened to their day even if it's just discovering a new toilet flush, others are not. it was just about the toilet flush, try not to judge. others enjoy it, others do not. breathe. get over it.

intelligence is like a pocket watch, do not pull it out to count the hours but give the time when you are asked.

intelligence and wit is knowing what to say, wisdom is knowing when to say it.

jack and jill went up the hill
to fetch a pail of water.
jack fell down and broke his crown
and jill came tumbling after.

chill.

You know... sometimes you don't want to lower yourself to the level of trailer trash debate with ample abrasive language. It is an insult to your intelligence.

By the way to all self-proclaimed experts on every topic on earth; Qatari is not offering airmiles for " post points ". So please do have a bit of a life outside of Qatar Living... Doha is a lovely and safe place, isn't it ?

Veering off topics by individuals or gangs, or the creation of sub-groups which might eventually harbor gangs... it's all clearly one topic, which led to the recent undesirable events.

I agree that the use abusive language, rude vocabulary, the desire to expose one's "no-class", and netiquette, should be the topic of a new thread.

As long as rigor mortis hasn't set in.

but "subgroups" seem's a different topic and as a lot of ppl are coming out of the woodwork to say that they are offended by posts veering off topics ('these events'), that baiting line about ur opinion on subgroups requires a separate thread.

now i understand even more why some ppl need those postmortem exercises as clearly, hundred posts on post mortem exercises is not enough.

The post mortem is an important one for those staying and not for those who have left. It is a needed exercise in free expression so that an event of this kind will never happen again.

People should not seek advice from anyone about if and when they should respond to a post. Some people do not like to pick a fight with people of different values than their’s. Some others do not communicate in sign gestures with every bad driver on the road.

People who like ganging up should use the phone to communicate among themselves, and not QL.

In my opinion Qatari’s proposal to create “sub-groups is not a desirable one, unless the dividing lines are based on clearly defined cultural or intellectual themes.

I agree 100% with you, but mind you some people might answer late because they don't have the time to answer on the spot, due to work load or generally being busy with other things.
