I went there yesterday to check out the place and some of the shops were already open. It was nice, the place is beautiful, it resembles an italian village with british shops LOL, think it should have been called "the high street" instead of the Villagio.

I heard that some of the shops are already open ...
a very tiny city centre, with very few shops, by the looks of it.
Next, Foot Locker, Starbucks, TopShop/Topman, River Island, Body Shop, etc.
In other words, the usual suspects. I wouldn't expect any surprises - it appears that it's going to be a carbon copy of City Centre in terms of shops.
if u go to villagio u will see a board displaying the shops supposed to open in the near future.
i remember seeing NEXT and it will open in the near distant future.
I read somewhere earlier that opening is in Februaruy 2007(It is Doha u know)
I don't have the list, but I know that River Island and Top shop will be there. Yupee, I love the style of both :)
ANyone knows when is opening?
