Baby Milk formula
Hi there.....My family have just recently moved to doha from New Zealand and I would appreciate anyones advice on where i can buy Milk fromula similar to what we have back in NZ, my son is 10mths old and is currently on Karicare follow on, I have checked out a few supermarkets in the area but which formula do i go for!!!! please help Also i recommend the AL Alhi hospital, for any familys needing excellent care for the baby, mind you it does cost but its worth every cent!! cheers
We actually timed it right with Al Ahli, it was just bfore 9am and they were pretty quiet, so we were seen straight away, doctors and staff spoke pretty good english which helped, the cost was $500 riyals approx. We actually have an appointment there tomorow so ill swing by the pharmacy and inq about the formula, if im succesful ill let you know! thanks 4 your help
most pharmacies would have a stock of the baby formula that they would sell, i am not sure i have seen the brand you have mentioned, and yes the pharmacists would be able to help, if not, best would be to consult with a pedeatrician and ask for his/her advice, since you have spoken of very highly about al ahli, there is a pedeatrician spoken of very highly in qatar living forum, dr attiya, she cud help you.if it helps, the womens hospital uses similac for their babies, and so do i.i tried others and then had to use similac for my daughter.
what is the fees like at al ahli, and do u have to wait long to see a doctor.
Thanks for the advice control engineer i know exactly which chemist your refuring too, we visited city centre last week and to my suprise i was able to stock up on baby products such as nappy ointments, paracetamol for bub, and almond oil for myself! i will go back and ask, thanks once again

I have got the same problem, the easiest way is to ask a Pharmacist there is one in the City Center he is gentle and cooperative and can help you find a replica for your baby formula milk
