There are so many factors to take into account such as the price you are willing to pay, distance to work, etc. I would suggets you search through the topics or post a new one. I am sure many will be able to help you here in this forum. I know many Malaysians here who live in flats, sharing vilas, staying in compunds, etc. It all depends on availability and the factors I mentioned.
