How long for first visa and

I am coming for South Africa to work for RasGas ,I am waiting a week for my visa .How long will this take? My wife and two kids is coming with. Do any body think we will be abele to mobilize in early January 07.The medical and all is in place .If you can help with any info on the process mail me at [email protected] .Any info to help and understand the process will be very welcome .Also about schools for the kids in Doha . Thank you

i've been waiting for 6 weeks and still no answer, i think ramadan was a factor as well as the asian games, but probably you can make by january

Is there a Police Certificate required from your home country to apply for Residence Permit?
