Hai everyone,

I'm actually a fan of this website, but only today I've decided to post a topic to you guys.

I've actually been offered by Qatar Airways Finance dept to join at them as a temporary staff. The salary offered is QR4,000 without any other benefits. Currently i'm working in a small company as an Full time Accountant. I've been in this job 4 mths now.

Now my dilemma is, should I join QA but what is my chances of being confirmed. Could someone pls pls give some light to my problem.

OK.Its really up to you?But for my own openion, you have a job now and thats secured you of having a job than taking this offer..and its still unsure...But if your taking a risk ang take this offer..what happen if you dnt get a permanet job as you know this is a temporary job...there is always IF and BUT in this situation...Think it Over....so u dnt get disappointed at the end..or it might also give you a chance to give you more knowladge if you take this offer and better salary for sure...(iTS REALLY UP TO YOU=?Good luck..............

Well .. if you love pressure and make sure you are holding

good connection with the right people and you work hard and

never complain and you dont mind having no life .. it's a

great job with free tickets .. but tremendous pressure ..

and .. being sacked is so common there

u have nothing to lose. If u prove you can work efficiently and are dedicated, your cases of becoming a permanent staff are good. Its a good company and opportunites to grow are plenty. Trust me, I speak from personal experience!

Just weigh the pros 'n' cons. How you'll benefit by joinging QA or if not joining, what you'll lose.

Find out, where the scale is tipping more.

Accordingly, decide yourself.

GO thru the newspapers, they got plenty of oppurtunities, I would suggest that you are in a golden sponsorship, even if u kick out Qatar Airways u'll get some where else. average salary for a graduate working should be around 4000-5000. so i'm sure your gonna get it. and I dont wok for QA so dont know abt it. well they pay crew a lot. thats what I know and theyve increased there salary structure recently - last month. So keep up the good work, keep ur fingers crossed. u'll end up good.

King Edshel - u better change your job, the'r paying you peanuts man trust me u need to be bit smart to get a good job, get out of that place. Trust me or else u'll get rotten over there, and please dont mention your salareis. I wouldn't.

IMZ and King Edshel Thank you for the reply. It's nice to hear some soothing replies like yours.

Gypsy, may be you need to explain to me what you really mean. This job i'm going to take up is a full time job. And like what IMZ said i'm under the sponsorship of my husband. So what are the risk that you think probably I will undertake?

Guys pls pls give me a light to the problem i'm facing. I need to know what chance I stand to be confirmed in QA. Is it difficult to be confirmed? QA pls answer

Hey, .. I don't know if you mean that this amount is high or low, but in my current company [gonna leave soon] I'm doing the following:

Installation of these servers:

Windows 2003

ISA Servers

UNIX servers

and .... more.

Network Administrator for an independent school.

Technical support for like 4 companies.

and the list is ... omg I don't want to talk about it, it makes me really feel so sorry for myself. Working hours from 9:00 to 6:00 and sometimes +2 or +3 hours [no concept of overtime] and they pay me 2500 only :(. What should I say? Let god be with all of us.

U'll get the feel of a bigger company. If you work well they might get u in permenantly, then n-joy your stay there. u might be on ur husbands sponsorship, so nothin to loose. I'm sure the pay in temp staf at qatar airways must be more than the small co. u workin for.

Cheers!
