Apartment Cost
Hi all,
Looking to move to Doha in about month and a half. Any pointers on how much would a 2 bedroom apartment in a good neighbourhood cost. Also what are some of the good neighbourhoods - dont necessarily have to be the best but something good. Will appreciate any feedback.

...So I am assuming you get hold of one of the numerous real estate agents and they show you around? What about the lease. Is it usually 6 months or 1 year?. I have also been told that landlords demand 1 year's rental in the form of post dated checks (cheques if you are not from the US (-: ). Will appreciate comments.

ok i have them too at madinat khalifa semi furnished but 39 flats. with basment parking. :( 8k-9k yes owner is my friend not my sponsor :)

My friend he is willing to rent them out for 11k-12k if ur company agrees ok i will tell u where to see them near hilal meera there is a mosque its just beside that 20 flats fully furnished.

Mine are fully furnished. every thing one would need to have is there expect for dress and cosmetics. one is semi furnished. 21 flats and 39 flats. but i prefer giving them to a company. If u want got a Tower at west bay too 3month rent is 5.5m :D coz only that one got power :D

i also got apartment 12k do u want fully furnish. but there is a problem no power yet from kahrama :D u can settle down with handy fans :D

Good neighborhood is in Al Sadd or Bin Mahmoud (at least to my experience).
2 bedrooms will cost you around QR 5K to 7K.
