...that the wages and conditions will have to go up for airlines like EK, QR and EY to maintain or improve the quality of their product. All of these airlines are in the midst of a massive expansion process.

The shortage of personnel is already making itself felt and it will only get worse. To attract qualified personnel, they will have to sweeten the pot.

I agree with Dash. QA is on the way up, and in order to be a top notch airline, it's the crew that pay the price. Emirates was there a while back, and now has started to settle down into a 'proper' airline with better benefits for it's employees.

Eunhee, you will find the life nice in some respects. Being crew is not a 'nice' job. It's hard work, and you don't get treated very well. In these countries, you have no unions to protect you and no way to fight for your rights.

If you want a chance to see the world for free, then being crew may be just what you need. But come prepared to do hard hours and long nights, and you won't be overly dissappointed. Good Luck.

wish you all the luck with your second interview.

As being Korean myself, I think it will be better for you to apply for Emirates rather than working for Qatar airways. I have friends both presently working for QA and EK. Being visited both of their accomodations and heard about benefits. I think Emirates offers better accomodation and living conditions. Therefore, go for Emirates!!!

Dubai is much better place to live compare to Doha.
