Visa approval

I was called, last week, by the bank that I have signed an offer letter with 50 days ago with, informing me that my visa got through all the approvals needed. However, they called me again informing me today that the officer in charge of printing them is always coming up with some lame excuse (ie computure failure or something else). When the HR Director called in to check he told her that he would call the bank when it is ready and was very harsh (according to the HR Director) over the phone.
Is anyone familiar with this situation?
When should I be expecting the visa to be over? or Should I not be expecting it in the first place!

sorry to say always the case when it comes to things like these..... if you push them too much, you can forget about getting it soon... As they say, you can't get anything done without wasta!!!
