House/flat rent and Real-estate companies ?
Hi friends,
I heard that the Government of Qatar ordered that the Real-estate companies are not allowed to Rent Houses/flats, they can only do buying and selling, I just wonder, they are still active in Rental business ? is it legal ? , I can see so many advertisement in Qatari Living site also ? anybody knows it ?
Whats the logic behind this law...?
If Real Estate guys are making money they would atleast be intrested in building more houses.
So if anything they should promote realestate guys. Or am I wrong?
As long as nothing is official and public in Newspapers, i dont thimk it is true. and even if it is correct, the question is whether this will help in decreasing or at least keeping the rent rates at a certain level?? OF COURSE NO, NO, NO...
Today the two bedroom apartment (just simple one) reached 10,000 and 11,000 riyals: that's almost 80% of the salary of the 30% of qatar's population who receives more than 19,000 riyals per month as salary...
WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER 70%!! AND WILL YOU STILL STAY IF 80% OF YOUR SLARY WILL GO TO A HOUSE THAT'S NOT YOURS...
