Al Sultan Beach Resort is really a good place to be.There you have all you need.An Area for familys,another one just for men or womans and if you like you go to swimm in the sea.

Nah, I would not get in my car to get to a women-only pool.

We have a nice big mixed pool area in the compound, and that works just fine. :)

Allthough the hygene can be a problem as some of the gross parents tell their children to piss in the pool, instead of walking the five meters for the restrooms.

I know, you can`t keep children from urinating in the pool, but directly advising them to do so when there are nice and clean restrooms nearby is just plain stupid.

Anyways, back to your questions: No, I do not think a women only pool sounds interesting. :)

I agree with APPLE's suggestion. We are in the ME and you can't remove the fact that there are some men here who go gaga over a lady in a swimsuit. I believe from your country and the country where I came from a swimsuit is the proper attire to wear when you go swimming.

I prefer to have a swimming pool for women only, that is if i want to wear swimsuit, not due to my religion. But we are in ME.

Also, i want to have another swimming pool for family or mixed, that is, if i want to go swimming w/ my husband.

Just my choice though!

I'm Houda I live in the Netherlands, Amsterdam.( most of the Dutch don't speak English so I'm sorry for my bad English) I went for 3 months in Doha. I liked it, but I don't want to live there for ever.

My research is to figure out: how many woman like to swimm without men. Because in the name of their religon or because they don't feel secure enough. Doesn't mather. If there is enough interesting for a woman-only-pool...then I should know what I need to do. If you have any question's you can ask them. I'm sorry if I have been not clear enough.

Having studied Ethnography and carried out different research there are certain ethics.

Firstly you should explain who you are and why you want to do this research.

Secondly how the research will be used.

Thirdly if you are from a corporation then offer some sort of voucher for participation as responses help your business.

Fourthly it is sometimes good to explain what methods you intend to use to analyse the information.
