Minimum Wage System

I was wondering why doesn't Government comes up with a minimum wage/salary. If the Government makes it manadatory that every employee should be paid 10-15 riyals per hour and the salary has to go through the banks, the complain of non-payment and of very low salaries would go away automatically.
In this way the Government can check what the workers are being paid and whether they are being on time or not.
This is best solution under the current circumstances.

the salaries in Qatar should be the same as what people are getting in North America. Then it would be fair

Please, Dont beg here in the public forum.First of all we must able to cotrol the monopoly system of Manpower.And we have to wake up the sleeping Embassy from this Country. Otherwise we cant do anything.

Jail and Deportation Problems:
Most of cases in deportation camp which is occupied by approximately 400 Nepalese people;
Reason
• Sponsors are not giving salary for long time as per they promise
• Sponsors are unable to stamp Resident permit on time
• Drinking alcohol
• These three are the major cases of the workers to be in deportation camp and Capital Jail
• Observation record shows that more than 85% people are detained due to the non- stamping of R.P.
Now these are possible solutions outline of Expat workers in the middle East
1. when any company apply for new visa Labor department Can keep Deposit money a least 5000 Riyal
2. when expat arrive in airport company or other concern person should submit Original visa .then they don’t have to wait 4/5 days in airport
3. open service center in the air port small counter at least to employee can be
4. Give the expat chance of to work if there is not stamping resident permit or any legal issued ( Can Be issued Temporary id card )
5. Open shelter unless case is final , give them chance to get any donation or any help

10. Delay of deportation camp and other custody case try to do it fast and let them go their country
I agree with you.Maybe it is to much work for the governement and they will have to much to do with conrolling every company if they are respecting the rules?
