I have received a Job offer in Doha, Qatar as a Project Coordinator with accommodation, lunch at the workplace, transportation, medical insurance and annual leave (with return ticket) as per Qatar Labor Law. I have a 2 year contract as discussed but haven't seen the contract and salary yet.

Am still at the process of preparing my documents but got one question if I can possibly bring my family there. I have a 1 year old child and a husband. Please somebody enlighten me. I dont want to get there without my family and I am a bit afraid to take the risk on how will be living in Doha, Qatar.

Thank you so much for giving me your time.

I'm supprised to read you don't know what the salary will be. Do you work for fun? Check Qatar jobsites like http://www.qatarjobsite.com and see what people get paid.

Thank you mufy for that advice as a start. I have emailed my employer back yesterday but I guess Qatar got no work on Fridays and Saturdays if i am correct.

Does somebody knows the salary range as a Electrical Engr/Project Coordinator? I will be on the field and work on autocad for revisions. I have no idea what will be basic salary for this position. Can somebody share some informations for the right benefits for this position? Do you have any idea about this company -BIN YOUSEF Maintenance & Contracting Company WLL?

Thanks everyone!

i'm in the same boat. Am going to work in Qatar. I'm not so worried about salary side of it. I'm more interested in general picture. I mean, what do i need to know first of all, cos I assume it's gonna be totally different experience from any I've had before.
