I guess this is where noobs make their first post and say hi =).
Been here for 2 weeks now and all I can say is that Qatar sure is boring! I bet the two words, 'Qatar' and 'boring' appeared in a single sentence very often. heh heh.
I'm glad we have internet here, save for some blocked sites, or else I'd go crazy. So I'm satistied I found this site, great info about what's (not) going on around here, and knowing the fact that I'm not the only unhappy expat in this country makes me a bit, well, happy. =D
So hi everyone!

I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of time. To be in company, even with the best, is soon wearisome and dissipating. I love to be alone, I never found the companionable solitude. - H.D. Thoreau!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys =)

I have to admit I haven't been exploring around lately since I'm new here and don't have the means to do so... I already went to the City Center last weekend. It took me maybe 45 mins waiting outside in the summer heat to get a taxi (it's not even a taxi but a private car) from Hilal. So there goes my enthusiasm to get out of the house for the time being. =D

Have a great weekend guys!
