Duplicate/Repeated posts ...

some time when i/others post a topic one or more of the replays says its already been posted recently/long time age. however some time i will feel disappointed that i didn't bring up something new in addition of that i repeated someone else topic " i swear its not intentionally" ..

so in your opinion what would be the best way to avoid such a situation ?

shall every one search for simeller topics availability ? which may need to read every search result ?? " which are usually a LOT"

or if someone know that it has been post it should post comment with a link so the poster of the topic will shift his topic as a comment to the old previous posted one and delete the current one ?

what do u think ?

ITs nnot interesting when the same post is put up in differnet forums. I suppose it would help if it was mentioned to better search for what a person wants before a question is put up.

in typing the subject matter in the google box to search QL (there is the option for only to search QL). I've never had a problem finding what I was looking for, be it a fresh question I have or looking for one I know has been covered before.

IMHO, repeats of stuff like 'what's your favourite this or that or whatever' when it's been posted only a matter of days earlier makes no sense.

Yes I totally agree with Army- I could nt have said it better!

Let everyone say whats on their mind. It could be a hot topic thats why it keeps reappearing!

I think what we really need is a subject SEARCH ENGINE on QL!

I often struggle to find info i need quick and then have to jump onto the google search to find it in QL!

What do you guys think?

I think it might be worth while having a discussion of a topic even if it was discussed a few months back. For simple reasons like - it helps the new members to take part in the discussion; people may have changed their opinion over time - so its good to hear the new perspective and input on the same topic.

Isnt this supposed to be a fun place - so why so many rules and regulations - Yes we do need the basics rules to maintain the decor and avoid chaos - but if it gets too regulated - the spontaneity of the place and the posters. :-)

hey rayyz good morning ,, how r u bro,

so do u think that a created topic would be much beneficial than copy past other topics ?

keep in mind that not all what a person receive will be received by others so the goal of the copy past topic type is to share knowledges i mean if it wasn't new to me why i would post it ?

First and foremost I'd suggest to stop doing those CTRL + C CTRL + V posts. Most of these have been read by majority of us on e-mails. I've been using the net for 10 odd years now and very few jokes or forwards that I might not have come across.

Cheers!
