My company (in UAE) took a construction project here in Doha 3 years ago and I was transferred to Doha since then on a biz visa. Now the project is finished and I have to go back to my home country. The company doesn’t want to pay me my final financial settlements.

Does any one know the shortest and most reliable way for me to get my money. I do have documents that validate my rights. Its really critical and Urgent. Can any one help?

It is also illegal to employ people under BIZ visa. There are big panelties for that and threatnen to expose them unless they pay your dues. at least hurt them where it matters.

You may not have much rights 'cos you are not supposed to be working on Business visa over here

Sorry mate,

Dont have the right legal expertise to give you the accurate info. Suggest you visit the Labor department or the Human rights commission and have a chat with them.

Can any one else assist on the contact info and location for the Labor department and Human RIghts commission.

Yasserbel - suggestion - when you do finally sort out the matter - we would appreciate if you could post here on how you solved your issue so that others who might be in a similar dilemma can get the info.

THanks.
