university lecture halls were separate for boys and grls, cuz university is a place where you're prepared for life, and although some do not work after graduation, the majority do join the workforce, and there... men and women work on the same floor.

I hear what you say about Qatari boys who prefer dating non-Qatari grls before marriage, and i guess when the time comes to get married they go back to family sources like, cousins, relatives, etc.

What would be the proper for a grl to get married, early twenties?

Moudir does marriage occur only if you fall in love?

looks like you dont believe in arranged marriages.

MOSTLY IN UNIVERSITES REALLY U CANT MEET A GIRLS/BOYS EACHOTHER FACE TO FACE! AT ALL !!BECAUSE WE HAVE STRICT RULES! IN GIRLS WING GENTS ARE ALLOWED! AND WE HAVE SEPARTE CAMPUS FOR BOTH GIRLS AND GUYS!

BUT THERE ARE MANY PLACE LIKE SHOPPING CENTRE,CINE CENTRE,..AND ONETHING MAINLY QATAR GUYS MOSTLY WONT LOVE GIRLS OF QATAR! IT DEPENDS UPON ONES WILL EITHER HE CAN LOVE BRITISH,INDIAN,SAUDI'S ,IRAQ..BUT THOSE GUYS ARE COMPLETELY SEPARTE BY THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS.THANKS FOR UR QUESTION!!

I was always wondering... if you don't marry your cousin, then where would a girl meet her "future husband" and fall in love with; i guess university environment is a good starter, but what about those who do not attend university...? just wondered.

By the way, this is cyberspace, and i was not referring to sex before marriage, i was referring to dating in a coffee shop, and you do not have to be shy :D, cuz people do not know who you are. Most people would love to know how the Qatari society functions as you offered to answer to any of our questions... :D

.it depends acc to the family values and strict cultures!REALLY in my family . i should marry my cousin ! but some dont marry their cousin bacause of age problems and family value's .but many guys and girls are eager to get into love!

mostly 2% guys are involving in sex and dating .incase of girls really i cant tell . even i feel more shy to answer this ur question!

It is always refreshing to have new blood, new young members joining this community. I am sure your contribution will be very valuable, because i think the true Qatari contribution to this forum is somewhat limited.

First, isn't Kifayah (enough), the name of an opposition party in Egypt :D ?

Second, i would like to know how young Qatari girls eventually choose their husbands. Is it true that the family environment remains the number one source of supply (like marrying cousins)? Is there such a thing as dating? like going out to a coffee shop with friends of the opposite sex before marriage, or that is not socially acceptable.

Thank you !
