Actors!!! Filmmakers!!!! Anyone interested in doing a 48HR Film Festival Competition????

Anyone interested in getting a filmfestival up and running???? let me know or let me know if there is anyone else out there doing something similiar in Qatar? The idea is you get teams together and you have 48hrs to make a short film with certain restrictions... At the end everyone gets together to watch them all we choose a winner...

... the other option would be to have a film festival lets say in December, And in the next few months lets sit down and script ideas up and then make the films ready for the showing in December... Depending on how many keen people we can muster depends on how many films are made. I work in TV so I can shoot and edit or work with, I can access camera and equipment so we're set... who knows?? Cannes film festival here we come!!!
So next step is send me any script ideas or synopsis's and then we should all meet over a cup of coffee to discuss which ones should be elected to be made...!

English I would be most common but I'm not against subtitles... but that would take time in edit suite..? Time as in duration of film?... well 5-10 min i reckon is good Short film time.
ofcourse the question is like some of you pointed out .... how is it to be arranged? what are the reasoable restrictions? and most importantly... what about permissions to shoot on locations, roads, public places etc.. but i really wish to work it out. it would such a great idea.
