swissgirl: that depends on nationality...

Novita: I just asked in Qatar airways from a month ago cuz i'm planning to get my bro .. i guess they didn't stopped it ..

Kitkat: yes but not all the RP .. it depends on the designation .. if he is an engineer that would be easier than to be a worker ..

dearcoh: the best solution for u is to ask in Qatar embacy in Dubai

When i came to Doha last year to meet my sweetie i had no Hotel reservation, they made me the Tourist Visa at the Airport.Think i payd 50Ryals for that, then everything was done. They dont asked me anything more.So are there different procedures for different countries?

Am from Europe,Swiss.

Just like to know it.

This guy is in Dubai, so how can he do it himself, If you hold a valid RP in another GCC country you can get a visa on arrival for seven days. (please correct me if am wrong), another option is contact any travel agents in Dubai they can arrange a Hotel Visa but you need to stay in the hotel for minimum three nights I guess.

not anymore Ram ... Qatar AIrways stop doing it now. You have to go to immigration and get the paperwork done on your own. I hv check it few mths back for my mum.

Regards
