u shud think about the solution logically ..

First of all 8 and 12 sec. should go together .. but who will get the lamp back .. both of them r so slow .. so there should be someone waiting for them there faster than them to take it bak ..

so u take 1 & 3 sec.

3 is waiting there 1 comes back quickly and send the 8 & 12 now ..

when both of them pass together u will save time .. and then the 3 sec. guy there comes back (which is faster) with the lamp .. now u can take 1 with each one of them 3 & 6

so u will be having Extra 1 sec. too

it was easy.. i liked this kind of puzzles since my childhood.. i have solved them a lot theoretically as well as practically..lol

it's so logical .. the 8sec. person should pass with the 12 sec. person so that u gain more time .. but one of them to go back with the light is the most idiot thing u can ever do .. u need some one faster to go back with the lamp .. and he should be there first ..
