actually I LIKE it better than the ones that are broken up into different legs of the journey. Get a prescription sleeping pill like Ambien(I'll warn you..Tylenol PM will knock you out, BUT will also leave you druggy feeling for hours later). Get on the flight, drink water (if you are in business or first..I always have a glass of champagne), eat a light meal then GO TO SLEEP!!! I like the neck pillows also but put them sideways on the side of your neck so you can actually lie on it and it keeps your head from lolling around. Use the ear plugs and eye mask..makes for a better sleep. Then...about an hour before landing..go brush your teeth, wash your face, reapply makeup if necessary (I even take one of those disposable wash cloths with soap in them and wash up a bit if I don't feel fresh) and you'll feel much better. If you like fruit..take an easy to transport one..like apples or oranges..but be sure and finish them before landing or the sniffer dogs will stop you in DC...Have a safe flight!!!

Misty...as much as you sound concerned...Just took a sneak preview at your profile...are you a returning student from the States going to your home country...

If yes...then carry your assignments (NOT) and do them on the flight...

And buddy...sleep, watch movies, and ofcourse don't you forget to Drink (that is IF YOU DRINK)...or else...try to find yourself a decent company on board...I'm sure there could be a couple of them to while away sometime...on board...

And when you get here...give the QL a call...and We'll come along and help you spend your time ( AND MONEY )...kidding there...but yea have a nice flight...try to have a quiet one and find yourself a company on board...that can erase the flight timings...champ...

Cheers...and have a SAFE FLIGHT...

Don't take or give your things to anyone in the airports, always keep a watch on your things at the airports...and stay calm in situations beyond your control...and ofcourse...just say HI to GOD Upstairs so you can have a fabulous and safe flight...

QATAR AIRWAYS IS GOOD ON THIS ROUTE...

Pack your own food and don't travel with 2 kids.

Buy a first class ticket is much nicer...That is you could afford it....

Things to have on hand :

Baby towels for the toilet.

An Ipod or your favorite music listening device.

Favorite magazines or books.

Comfortable clothing and shoes, nothing tight.

Eat light foods, vegetables, crackers, no fatty ones and lots of water.

Your passport and documents on hand with a pen always.

Try to sleep as much you can't, it will help you with your jet lag.

and enjoy the ride....

Air Arabia passengers should have the option to chase fleas and / or fumigate as a pastime during the flight!

If you are flying economy try to get a seat near the emergency exit, there you can stretch your legs.

Don't drink alcohol it is very dangerous on board especially on long flights.

Wip your feet up and down as often as you can and by no means take your shoes off, chances are your feet might be swollen and you can't get your feet in the shoes again.

Try to sleep if you can, if not watch movies and the time will pass quickly. If you have a stopover use the time to walk.

Make sure all children are stowed in cargo hold so you can have a nice peaceful flight.

Oh I always ask for a seat away from the bathroom - it can get stinky on long haul

Bring ear plugs, it helps so much when trying to sleep. You can always take some Tylenol PM or something like that and just sleep through your trip so when you arrive you will be rested and refreshed.

I like those airplane pillows that fit around your neck, they make sleeping so much more comfortable on the flight.

Have a safe trip.

Drink as much water as you can, Take walks every two hours, and try to sleep too. check the arrival time to get an Idea how fresh you wanna be.

Example 6:00 Am Ready to go to work or 9:00 Pm Ready to go to bed. (Or the Pub LOL)

My flight its normally 21 hours (2 or 3 Planes) I drink (No water) as much as i can in the first to sleep in the second.

Have a nice trip.
