Hi folks,
I have recently been offered in an american oilfield company a very atterative job, however understand that Pakistani nationals have been having issues getting residence visa, i really do not want to lose this opportunity and will require your help.
I will be on sr. finance and admin manager position considering this is it really impossible to get visa?
I was born in UAE and lived adn worked here all my life...
i would like to get my residence visa and also get my family over immeditaly, if i get my visa done will it be realtive easy to get my family visas??
worst case.... if i take the risk to accept this job and come on busines visa for 3 months in and again out.... is it secure..... how long can i continue.. can my family also come for 3 months on business visa and continue to renew.... i also have a child who goes in school..
Thanks a lot for any clues tips... guidances...
Regards, Irf.
This is great.... i am waiting from my company to get my residence visa out... thanks, Irf
There is no problem with Pakistanis getting employment visa especially when it is Energy sector. Though there used to be some issues a couple of years ago. Getting visa is even easier when you are joining as senior staff. So no worries.. go ahead..
i heard some rumor that business visa only can extend for 28 days from now on.
Excellent info I droped you a PM also... i look forwad to being with you guys in Doha soon :)
Pakistani nationals have no problems in getting Employment visa in Qatar now. Only one problem you might face is the designation .. same rule applies here as it is in UAE that certain cetagory such as HR Manager/Officer, Secretary etc.. will be Locals only so same case is in Doha now ... I suggest you ask your sponsor to try with your Fin & Admin position first (if rejected they can change the positing title as reapply such as Financial System Officer)
Secondly keep in mind that most of the accommodations rents are pretty high here compare to Abu Dhabi and Dubai and the quality is not as good as in UAE ... Doha life is not as fast as in UAE but its better then UAE (i mean the family life)...
so if you have any further query send me PM.
Cheers
