Hello everyone!. I'm planning to visit doha this coming week. I would like to know some information if you guys can help me. I would really appreciate your time and help.
Someone told me. I can get visa on arrival.(is that true?), Now do i have to show them a hotel reservation?. I am not staying in the hotel. I am staying in my Aunt house...Do you guys think it would be a trouble for me?
Please i need your advices...I do have US passport.
Thank you.
Qatarisun, thank you for the information. I really appreciated it. Thanks, hopefully it would be fun visit. As its not Hot weather...
Thank you to all!
or anyting like that. It depends on nationality. With your USA passport you will get your visitor's visa upon arrival at the airport in exactly 5 minutes, you will pay QR 50 for 2 weeks (have your credit card ready), and later you can extend your visa for another 2 weeks if you need. And they not going to ask you anything.
Welcome to Doha and Have fun in here!!!

But i believe your opinion and experienced. Hopefully i enjoy my trip...
Thanks Again.
I visited my husband last Spring. I walked up to immigration desk and handed my passport and Mastercard (had Qatar riyals but they only accept credit cards) and I was out in less then 5 minutes. They did not ask where I was staying or anything. I asked if they needed my husband's address or anything the said no.
Enjoy your trip.

Yes - you can get visa on arrival. No - shouldn't be a problem for you staying at aunt's house. My sister had no problem. Must pay for visa with a card - no cash or even better, have your aunt pay for the meet and greet service and she can pre-pay for your visa and you won't have to deal with anything. Just sit in the lounge area and wait. Nice after that long flight.
