Hi Guys,

I hope you can help me on this plan.

Me and my family of 3 children (ages 5, 9.5 and 11 y/o) are planning to get a Holiday not too far from Qatar for atleast 10 days vacation.
So we would like to make it a little bit of fun and excitement.
I heard that Amman and Petra are nice place to visit. But is it expensive there the 5 star hotels? Also, my husband is planning to hire a van or a 4x4. Is it okay for us to do this in Amman? how much it cost?
for the whole day?

I need any reactions or advices especially somebody who belong from Amman about our plan.

Thanks,

Zaika

if you do go to Jordan ... give amman a miss ... not much to see there. I do recommend Movenpick Dead Sea ... we pay about QR 500 with breakfast for standard room.

Petra not enough to visit in a day ... you can get 2 days ticket or more and stay in movenpick petra just walking distance from petra itself.

Why go to any other place? Have your vacation in Industrial Area. 5 star hotel with a private beach:)
