I think of India when I was a kid.

In India the home made Icecream man comes with his earthen pot on his head and calls out "Kulfi Kulfi"

In the Phil. late night or early morning there is a different type of echo - Balut (Did I get that right).

Had corcodile meat, Zebra, Ostrich, in SA, forgot what the dried meat is called. Did the wine tasting route.

Heard the singing waiters in NY.

Had raw fish in Phil.

Loved the food in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore.

Enjoyed the ship cruise by the only hotel in HongKong to have their personal ship and the route by wooden tram cart through the city.

Heard the Choir in Russia and experienced Authentic Russian Vodka and caviar where Pre.Clinton, and some dignatories wine and dine.

couple of other places as well.

where are you from dear? hey I am just curious

By Angelo• 31 Dec 2007 20:03
Angelo

But after having the (I suppose - the expensive type) in Moscow Russia at the Cigar and Caviar place, I changed my mind. The ones here taste different.

Some of the restaurants put it on eggs, etc, but you can still get the fishy salty taste.

I did not like Vodka neat, as we were having it at room temperature (Here), until in Moscow we were given chilled Vodka and it was great. There were three different types (Colors) and we were given to sample all. Even the Caviar, there were different type from different fishes. Anyways, thats history.

wouldn't mind expanding my knowledge on "Skull it like hell:

Did not like caviar? have you tasted the expensive one? They are great.

By the way Vodka is good. You cant smell it you can't taste it so what is wrong with it?

By Angelo• 31 Dec 2007 19:51

Sorry am curious, wouldn't mind the knowledge.

Never liked vodka without loads of ice and fresh orange juice, but what I had in Russia was class.

Vodka chilled, neat and a toast or pancake with caviar and cream. Yummy Yummy Yummy.

Did I mention I did not like cream or caviar either.

but when in Rome do as the Romans.

Cheers

Russians do not sip it, like wine. They drink it in very small glasses and knock it back quickly, like medicine.

I am particularly fond of Chivas Regal brand of whiskey. I have tasted cocktails with vodka and some with rum but nothing beats the taste of whisky. Anyways I don't consider myself alcohol savvy.

By Mom_me• 31 Dec 2007 19:17
Mom_me

Happy, alcohol is not something I am fond of myself. Initially in my case, I had a lot of inhibitions (religious reasons) but one day I decided what the heck. I had it because I did'nt want to shy away from official gatherings in India where alcohol was offered. You can taste it once but you will not get hooked on to it if you don't like it.
