Salwa Industrial Area- ROADS??

It's great that the Municipality are digging the roads to put in new pipes presumably for improved water and sewage etc.

BUT WHY O WHY CAN'T THE ALREADY ATROCIOUS ROADS BE REINSTATED PROPERLY?
The backfilling lasts a few days then you end up with uneven surfaces often running the whole width of the road and on many roads in many places. In many instances even the big 4x4's have to creep over the trenches that result as they are sharp edged and deep.

Anyone from Salwa Municipality able to answer and give hope for improved roads as promised last year?

This area is so bad structured. Imagine very big evacuation need to ge done for emergency here... only one road exit!!!! what chaos will be...

Everybody is right and Everybody is wrong, its depend where you stand

Ashghal is the Public Works Authority under Ministry of Manpower and Agriculture.

All roads as far as I am aware are being done by Asghal Co. not the municipality although they wanted to join to the municipality.

There are no sheiks living in that area. Only workers. Why bother?

Not the municipality. It is the Public Works Authority who is supervising the works

Is called: Paying the price of bad management and poor construccion codes and ethics..

They are good in digging , but to put it back together, the way it was, is completly blasfemous to thier backs and money. Just a bunch of cheap skates, If you want my opinion, It summons to the lack of proper supervision and no checks and balances.

We should start calling Doha the new city of Craters.
