Help with Cat

Hello all,

My wife and I just brought our formerly out-door cat to the city. Before we adopted him, he was twice abandoned, so when we moved here, we just couldn't do that to him again. Now that he's here though, we're wondering if there are any places in the city where we might be able to take him to get a little fresh air safely. He's adapted well to life on a leash and harness, so we can walk him like you would a dog, we're just not sure a good place to do it. Some place with a few trees, eg: a park would be good, but we're not too picky for him!

Thanks everyone!

Hey anybody know where I can get a golfish harness so I can take my pet fish for a swim along the corniche.

Taking a cat for a walk on a lead whatever next.

Sorry Red Pope, my cat has a back yard to play in.

Would you walk straight to my confession Booth once in a while?

There's quite a few parks around the city, not many dogs here so you shouldn't have to worry about running into any. AL bidda does look good, as does the corniche itself. :)

we never got the chance to "walk" our cat... she gets nervous when she's out...

but if you would, al bidda park near corniche looks promising for your feline. trees and grass and some stranger's feet for that favorite scratch.

when referring to walking your cat safely, I wonder what exactly do you mean by this? I mean are you worried that he might get raped by ghetto street cats lurking in dark alleys or something else really shady?!!!!!

@craiger125

Are you sure is not a breed between a cat-hound?

I got a nice dog, that will guarantee to chase that cat for dear life in the desert..

I was wondering If he was abandon twice because of his annoying noisy personalities?

They have a nice park in the Corniche, but the Zoo of Doha will definitely meet his criteria inside the Lions den.

I tried to use a leash on my indoor cat, but he did not agree at all!

I think he felt somewhat embarrassed...it was definitely beneath him :D
