I wouldn't say the company is fooling around with him.

Two of my friends waited up to 3 months.

The visa takes a while because of the slow workings of different companies' HR departments.

you right the visa takes about 3 to 5 working days but the working allownce it takes about 40 working days and some times more than that becouse they try to allign the number of people from all countries ex. if they found the number of indian come over the limit they stop issue an indian visas for some days or months and also they check the work position if there is any qatari can do it and some times they stop it for political issues. so dont worry and relax coz u cant do anything.

hi mr. mohannad, thanks for that info. is it normal that it usually takes 2 months? Thats what my company also told me. But why that long? And also what is going on inside? I though work visa only takes 1-3 days.

thanks for the info you can share

I'm on the same boat as you man. Ive been waiting for weeks, and I dont know what's gonna happen. I'm like waiting for a shooting star to appear. How long does it usually take and why? It only takes 1-3 days to process Visa, but takes weeks/months for approval?

Hi Saikap,

Its a monarch rule not like our democratic countries where we can fight here anything is possible. If at all u like to work in qatar only then try some other companies there are many here. By the way in which company u got the offer.

Dear Freind bond007.

I appericiate you for your comment.  if they have got some others in replacements. Then they should inform  us, who keep waiting for visa. So that we should concenterate on our current job.

Also what about the proof of the job( offer letter)  I have with me.
