Why Beer Makes u smarter...

Cliff Calvin was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm.

Here's how it went:

"Well ya see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells.

Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers!

Cool Guy !!!!!

New Castle Brown Ale is my favorite that I can get here.  Sleemans Honey Brown or Rickards Honey Brown in Canada, Hoegartten and Leffe for European beers.  I'm a real fan of Ales and Bitters, so I usually had a favorite at every pub I stopped at in the UK. :)   There was a really good one with some crazy name at the World's End in Edinburgh.

tonight i am dinning on a guiness (since thats pretty much all they got here)

but if it was my choice...

CHIMAY GRAND RESERVE    is by far the best beer i have ever had...

i had one while i was living in new orleans and i must say... it is by far the best... its so rich and thick and sweet and smoot... its like heavan in a bottle... mixed with chocolate milk... hahahahahaha

We have few private brewerys back home, one of the more famous and very highly regarded is Little critters..weird name...does all the light to dark ales and even flavoured beers like chocolate beer and chilli beer...sorry haven't thought to try them but just might next trip home.

And yes Dweller you are right about Fosters...but XXXX is worse!

My fav would be hahn ice...they use ice somehow in the filtering process, so they say but it is so smoooooth

Think I am tempted to go try the swiss and thailand beers...worthy of a holiday

The only draught we can get here in Turkey is in cans (with widget). It's the cans that don't travel well. For some reason the cans of Boddingtons appear to travel better.
