Last year you had to buy tickets. They were on sale on the ground floor, there was a table and two people were selling them.

But they were not expensive.

Marghe75, Thanks for the link!!

I hated the global village at cna... it was a little stupid. I mean no offence or

anything, but they should have merged more unity into it. Everyone has their

own stand representing their countries, all i saw was everyone was in their

stand, instead of going all around and looking at what other countries had, all

they did was just stand infront of their stands and chit chat. It seemed like a

usual day at cna... boring. I felt discrimination there to be honest.

It's always the small things that make big differences.

Nope it's the 7th, I just found a Peninsula Article about it, and it's saying Feb 28th to the 6th of March, and apprantely they are performing the Barber of Seville and everything!  Of course no dates or times or venues.

QS...Even I thought its the same, but the one Gypsy is referring to is the 3rd Doha Cultural festival. I remember the  first one the main venue was the Bida park where they had the cultural programs from different countries and next to the park the heritage village where they had this traditional Arabic food, Sword dance etc. and stalls from different countries with traditional items.

Nope the Doha Cultural Festival is a month long event starting March 1st, put on by the National Association for Arts Culture and Heritage.  Unfortunately they don't answer their phone, their emails, etc.  SO I'm hoping someone here might know what events they are putting on and where.
