Fareej Al Nasser, one of the busiest and well known place in Qatar! It is the favourite street where the Youngsters love to drive their new model of cars.

Why you all worried? They are going to demolish houses and buildings however road & street will remain there.

I heard that HH Emir had ordered a freeze on all demolitions for 2 or 3 years. So what happened to that decision now ? Or, was there never anything like that ???

I don't think they will demolish all the district as there are newly build buildings around.

Its obvious that they will remove the commercial shops along merqab street like the old Falcon muisc center the nearby shops. The houses are mostly behind these shops.

I hope they widen the road to allow more traffic flow. A high percentage of the crowd is due to the the number of young boys continiously driving from the first traffic light till the family food center and backward, allover the evening till late night, either showing off their new cars or looking to get a chance to connect to a female wearing abaya somewhere in the road.
