kabayan,

i just came from qatar 3 weeks ago for a job as civil angineer an salwa road doing the interchanges as asphalting site engineer but i was very unlucky to find out that i was about to be sent back home by the medical commision for a reason that they diagnosed me of previuos chest problem, which nobody explained me since they dont also understand the terms.

but our pro told me that its about old scars or inactive infection on my lungs. and its code 63 in qatari medical law.

i have my medical certificate from aqatari accreditted medical clinic also and it has good results.

can anyone advice me of this on what to do. i'm also going home to also check with our specialist there to clarify things out.

is it still possible for me to come back and pass the exam.in the commission?

what is code 63? my employer assured me that if i'll get back, they'll hire me again but i'm hesitant to do it because i'm quite afraid to take the medical exam again only to find out that i'd still fail.

PLEASE SEND ME SOME ADVICE or email me at [email protected].

I agree with Mystica. Go to a private clinic at magpatingin ka kung active pa yan. And start your medication immediately. On your test here, drink milk, makakatulong para lumabo ang x-ray. Cheer up, di lang ikaw Ang may ganyan.

It's great 2 b loved!

Leorecord, did you ever had a lung infection before while you were still in the Phils?  That might be the cause of the scar found in your lungs.

**** be proud pinoy ****

Dar, If I understand it correctly, i think it about an old pulmonary TB infection which even though you are healed of the infection would leave a permanent "scar" in the lungs.

I was informed that no amount of medication would erase the scar, it would stay there permanently. As long as you have taken the full course of medication it would not be infectious anymore. But still you need a medical clearance for this one.

Leorecord, this should have been seen in your xray while you were still in the Phil. prior to issuance of your working visa by the Qatar Embassy in Manila.

Pre, dont give up, I know its quite frustrating to be on this predicament,

tama yung gagawn mo na umuwi muna and clear yourself of the problem, and once your ok na, trust your employeer to take you back into Qatar again....
