Interested to know what life is like as a Governess in Qatar. Well it depends on the family you are working for I know but just to throw the question out there as I am coming for an interview tomorrow......
The problem is that you neverreally know what kind of family you are going to as you never will know until you live with them. These positions leave the personnel very little free time as kids are a 24 hour task.
You have to negotiate all your terms very well in advance especially, before coming to the Middle East or Gulf countries in general as a working day here is generally different to if you were working in England for instance.
Not to foget kids can be a handful - not a job for me.
It just sounds so quaint! I'm not sure that I would like that position here in Qatar! If it is one of the richer families here I hope they look after you! Good luck!

In the olden days it was common practice among rich families to have such an employee.
