5 Reason Why Guys Fear Commitment

Qatar Idols
By Qatar Idols

Reason #1: Saying "yes" to you

Reason #2: Women in magazines and on TV look so perfect means saying "no" to the rest of the world

Reason #3: I'm not ready to give up guys' night out (i.e., my fraternity days)

Reason #4: Relationships shouldn't require so much work Reason #5: I'm not sure if the things that bother me about you are deal-breakers

i was more curious about the stereotype, if you will.

not that this is the case with all western men, but if you ask western women about western men in their youth, many will say we have a fear of commitment.  my wife's theory is that a man before 30 will be trouble in the commitment department.  of course this is a generalization (although i was 29 when we married so...)

i was just curious if this stereotype exists for qatari men too.

most qataris i have spoken to (not too many admitedly) seem to love having kids so they do seem committed to that.

as for workers, there is only 1 qatari in my office (she is committed) so i can't say too much about that.

everybody has their own belief and opinion... basically, committing to something is an achievement. but with your question Withnail, you're trying to ask the commitment of qataris to their families? as a worker? or as a citizen? now, as for me, all qataris as a citizen of their country are patriotic and united. but when you say abiding citizen, i won't agree with that. by the traffic rules and their patience, i can say they don't have it. when we talked about commitment to family/relationship, they can handle it because they won't take more than one wife if they can't support it. as a worker... not really impressive coz some of them are lazy and pretending to good as a worker but they don't. hope nobody won't get me wrong with this... this is as per my perception and obervation.
