your advice please. My sis and her hubby are coming to visit and I wanted to treat them to a spa day. Whats the best one here that wont hurt my ouch wallet too much.

I have to agree with Neroli. I love having treatments done for my face & body. Had such a remarkable experience at the Marriott Hotel (the one near the Airport) - what a friendly, professional atmosphere in the spa! Before my facial I was told that I could use the ladies jacuzzi & steam room - great way to relax before a treatment. It's no extra charge. All part of the treatment. After my facial I had my legs & bikini waxed. It was done so well that as long as I am in Doha, I will never go anywhere else. They use good products for face & body - from France I believe - and when I leave there I always feel like a queen - they make me feel so special.
There is a new spa in the city. Its good and there are special offers too.. You can go through their site www.essence-spa.com and find out more.. Recently I saw their ad in facebook, for free treatment too
I recently exprienced a day package at the Doha Marriott Hotel. From the moment I entered the spa I felt special. Their service is amazing. I had a body scrub done the traditional way in a beautiful, authentic turkish bath, a full body massage done with loving care using exquisite smelling oils. The effects of the facial lasted for many days thereafter. The therapists are all lovely and well trained. I have decided to do this once a month from now on because compared to the other spas their prices are really quite affordable.
Sharq Village, hands down. They have a romance package. They can go to a private room, have a rose petal bath together, than massages and facials. After they can use all the facilities, drink tea and all.
The Spa is lovely and the baths are like the old arabic stone baths.
Wow you just can not compare it with any other spa No wonder they are the best Middle East spa and nominee for the World best :-)It is quite difficult to find booking but definitely the best. Book BIP room for two and you might enjoy complementary bubbly and brownies. I had a best treatment in my LIFE there. Music fantastic, smell great therapist best on the planet
I have tried many spas in Dog=ha and a few are very enjoyable (4 seasons/ ritz and sharq...) the best in my opinion is SPa Chakra in the Alfardan towers... very experienced therapist and the best products in the world "Guerlain" from France. The body wraps and facials are truly amazing and the little extra's they add to the treaments are fantastic. The facial includes waxing of the eyebrows...and to top it off you receive an incredible hand treatment that leaves them extremely soft! So a clean & nourished face and soft hands on top of it....(price worth every penny!!!)
if you book into a sharq villa suite, you get 10% discount - depending on the type of room you book.
if not, getting treatments there are also wonderful~! but otherwise definitely go for a day pass so you can also have access to the facilities such as sauna, jacuzzi, pool, and also the beach in sharq village. it a private beach so its quite nice~!
I've heard that the Ritz was quite good; however, it's expensive. If u only want to treat ur sis, then I would recommend Diva Lounge (women only), it's reasonably priced and has a great atmosphere.

FOur Seasons is very nice but they just put up their prices like 10% so what was quite reasonable is now just too much to pay for massage and a float!

from what i've heard, the Al Shark Village is nice :) and also the one in Ritz
