RasGas and their lies and not fulfilling contracts and promises

ProudAmerican
By ProudAmerican

RasGas has a problem with telling the truth but that does not surprise me at all I wonder how many more employees that have had trouble with getting their expenses reimbursed, relocations reimbursed and when they cannot deal with real complex medical conditions they do not care for the individual or family that is suffering they just keep putting them off and putting that family members life in jeopardy and when you have an appointment at Hamad and the Doctor does not show up do they call? NO they have no common sense but what do I expect from a State like Qatar that supports Hammas and other terrorists. They lie I wonder if that is in the Koran they need to listen to Toby Keiths sond dedicated to the "Taliban Song", they lie and lie and I encourage all ex-pats to re-evaluate your stay over there because if you get seriously ill what will happen so do not take this lightly. I have no respect for them with their lies and then not paying their bills that just goes to show they are just as bad as the people they call infidels. Let them do all the owrk themselves and lets see how fast those buildings get put up and how much faster Qatarization happens they are not even smart enough to do the job themselves. I am tired of the lies.Ride camel Ride

The whole statement is highly exaggarated. Maybe you are being too negative. its human nature we can be very cruel with others but cannot bear a single streak as a personal experience.

Companies like QG, RG, and QP are actually awarding employees like anything.

If I did not have the credentials they would not have hired me in the first place.  I guess that is why you have to be so vociferous in your posts to try to prove a point but hey you have a rught to your opinion but with this you have no clue you were not there so you do not know you are really making yourself look like a fool.

I care for those people of there I do not care if they are the CEO or the bottome person each person needs treated with respect and what is ever in their contract that Company including RasGas needs to stick to their word.  Ib et if your employer lied to you and owed you money or something else you would really just sit by and take it you might if you have to live in that un-free world.

RasGas begged me not to resign and offered me more salary fool, why do you think they have Ex-Pats over there you do not know what you are talking about as always that is why you assume which makes an as_ of you u and me so stop talking aobut something you have no idea, you were not there!

They cannot retain employees that is why they have a big turn over rate, someone privately emailed me and told me their experience similar to mine.

I am still getting calls to come back to RasGas to help them with human resources because they are losing a lot of employees so there you have it and I work for a REAL company now where I know that I can be at ease with my conscious to treat people with honesty and respect and not lie to them about things on their contract.

ok - not to beat a dead horse ( an American cliche) but the way he/she spelled labourers is not how it is spelled in America - its laborers.  Again this just points to the idea that this person was most likely not taught English in the US but elsewhere.  The spelling of this word is more in line with European English which is what is taught outside of the U.S.

Well looks like RasGas found your credentials were not upto the mark and hence treated you that way. thats all.

ProudAmerican - do you have something specific you want to bring to our attention and discuss, or did you just fancy having a general rant to get everything off your chest? You seem to be attacking various issues all in one go so it's a bit hard to start up a discussion with you.

I am only using my FIRST AMENDMENT right, freedom of speech, and I am not a racist look at Qatar and they way they treat the workers there, little pay and you call me a racist, how about human rights, and Arabs do ride camels, get over it!

I am only speaking my mind and if you cannot handle it then do not read it!

I did go back home and what I do over here is really none of your business live in Qatar and drive around and around in a circle.

Look around in Qatar there are NO basic human rights for the labourers that is enough to make this human resource person ill!

Also their are other people from other Countries that have said more than I have. Also do you really think that America really cares what you think of her?  LOL

It's probably another way for a non-american to discredit americans, which seems to be very popular on QL these days.

(btw, i am not american, but I HATE lies about any nationality)

To me, the lack of punction, missing capital letters and the poor sentence structure points to someone who does not speak English as a native language.  The farther into the rant you go the worse the mistakes seem to be.  On top of that, this post doesn't sound American to me.  What I mean is it doesn't have the rhythm and flow typical of American speech. Finally - I can't think of one American who would expect their employer to handle (or wait for their employer to handle) a family medical emergency.  Nor would they expect their employer to take care of a doctor who is a no show because American employers do not perform this type of role so it just would not be expected.

Sorry you feel this way about our Country. Since you claim to work in HR, you should've check with legal about your medical insurance rights. You can't blame them for screwed up appointments in HMC. As far as i know , you could have been treated in  any other private hospital.

would be my guess that ProudAmerica, 1) ISN'T American nor 2)proud..

seems to be full of sour grapes for whatever reason. I honestly don't know of any American that would put things like this on their profile nor publically post things like this. Especially if they are in Human Resources..which they say they are....Me thinks we smell a rat/troll....
