Sorry all, I am not up on the Visa stuff. I still like nurses though.

if you remember me. that qatar embassy refused to certify our visa. well, i waited this long to be back to you and tell everybody in QL that we are now in qatar and we've got our residence permit.

i never got an answer from the embassy. what the reason? i don't know,so, i leave them (its there rules). my son and i,with our ready visas flew out of philippines without there embassy certification.

we arrived in doha and stamp our passport with no question at all. and goes through a normal visa processing here and thanks god its done.

back to philippine, i tried to go through legal/normal process as per there rules and requirements and ready to pay the appropriate fees. our papers/visa are genuine from qatar, and from one of the respected company.but, why authorities in philippines gave me a hard time getting there consent? not only me, a lot of pilipinos who want to work out of phils. will suffer(dadaan muna sa butas ng karayom)before they can go.not only that, baon ka sa utang bago umalis. why! o Why?.

i've been an overseas worker for 18 years and been sending dollars to philippines. wala akong narinig na libre or pabuya sa mga overseas workero sa tinatawag na bagong bayani. tax free lang sa airport. buti nga ngayon libre na ang trolley before you have to pay to get a trolley for your luggage. thanks god!

for my kababayan i don't need to tell this because you have also same experience maybe worsed. anyway, i am just updating you of what happens to my case. i want to tell all QL ka chika that we are here and we sort out the problem in phils.

tell ur friend to go in phil embassy (here in qatar ofcourse) and get u a letter of support kasi hihingin yan sa immigration (sa manila airport)....

and dont bring tooooooooooo much bagahe.. and mahal kaya ng extra bagahe...hehe

che to be safe, aside from the Visa certified by the embassy through DHL just ask from somebody you know here na magbibigay sayo ng LETTER OF SUPPORT..plus yong salary certificate ng nagbigay sayo ng LETTER OF SUPPORT..di naman talaga ito kailangan pero just to be sure na wala silang makikitang excuse na pagkakapirahan ka.

kasi minsan naghahanap sila nito lalo na if babae ka.

Technically speaking kasi as long as meron kang return ticket and certified ng embassy ang visa mo wala na silang karapatang di ka paalisin.

tanong po sana kung hanapan po ba ako ng ibang documents pag dating ko sa doha immigration? kasi po dati wala....

nakuha na po nya yung visa ko and send nya daw sa email add ko kaya lang sabi po kasi ng friend ko kelangan ko daw po ipadala sa qatar embassy dito sa pinas ung salary certification nya na may 5 thou range, pero sabi po sa DHL passport, pictures and visa print out lang po ang kelangan...

sana po matulungan nyo kasi po sana makapunta ko ng sept 29 jan sa doha...

about the topic, if under business visa... no need for medical exam especially if you dont have lung problem history. otherwise its better to have medical exam from phil in middle-east accredited hospitals so you'll not worry when you come here, coz once you got problem, khalas youll go back phil. for your own assurance.

if no money, then dont go medical in phil... ;-)

regarding ticket... if you buy from phil. its to expensive, coz its in dollar and huge tax... check airline websites, youll see... e.g. emirates and qatar airways. that is why it is cheaper to buy ticket from here in doha.

yup... no need for medical... i've been through the same process... sa sunday na flight ko... sana lang wag ako harangin ng immigration official sa airport at hingian ng lagay... business visit visa pala hawak ko... sa wakas makakarating na rin ako ng qatar... see you all!!!

1. Original passport

2. Visa print-out

3. 2pcs 2x2 photo with white background

4. P735.00 for www.expressdhl fee

just go to the nearest wwwexpressdhl office in your area and they will tell you what is required. as of my knowledge for visit no need medical. but, still you need to double check with them. regarding visa in qatar . i know one of our QL mates can answer that for you.

gusto ko po sana magtanong, kung kuhaan po ba ako ng friend ko ng visit visa for 28 days kelangan ko pa ng medical examination? kelangan ko po ba ipadala pa yung copy ng visa, passports and nung medical (kung meron) sa embassy or pwede na ko mag flight agad?

dati po kasi ko nakatira sa doha ng 3 years umuwi ako ng pinas kasi po mag aral ako, gusto ko po kasi mag visit ng doha para kumuha ng police clearance sa pag apply ng visa going to states and para po magkita na rin kami ng husband ko kasi punta siya ng doha ng last week ng sepetember for a month.....

please po paki answer naman di ko po kasi alam ang requirements ng qatar embassy last 3 years pa po nung huli ako mag ayos ng papers....

papagamit mo tama yung nasa Qatar embassy na ipacancel na lang yung visa ng son mo kasi visa upon arrival ang mga British citizen at syempre ang ipapakita mo nga sa airport ay yung british passport nya.alam mo sa palagay ko tama yung sinabi nung taga embassy.

At kung Philippine passport naman ay kailangan mo i chek sa pinagmedicalan mo kung pwede bang bigyan ng 'Fit to Travel" na medical ang anak mo dahil nga hinihingan ng embassy.

At kung ako sa yo ,pipiliin ko na yung british passport dahil mas maganda benefit sa pag aaral nya dito.

eto na, ang papers naman ng son ko 4 yrs old. dual passport british and philippines passport.bakit daw british passport number daw ang nakalagay sa visa, ang sabi ko kasi tatay nya ang nagtratrabaho doon.dapat daw ilagay philippine passport number ang sabi ko, di naman papayag ang father nya. so,tawag naman dito tawag doon. at the end binigay sa akin ang philippine passport ng anak ko di na daw kailangan. so i paid 770 each okey na.

today, tumawag ang babae qatar embassy daw ang sabi kailangan daw medical sa visa ng son ko sabi ko child under 12 no need medical sabi nya "eh mam" working visa ho to" sabi ko working visa ang tatay nya di sya 4 yrs old lang kaya yan" at profession nakalagay child pano magtratrabaho yan.di pa nga marunong mag sulat.ang sabi cancel na lang daw ang visa dahil british passport naman sya visa upon arrival na lang daw ang sabi ko dual my phil passport yan. sabi "eh huwag mo na lang ipakita ang phil passport sa airport" sabi ko puede nasa system na ang information nya dahil labas masok na kami dito. i believe its not possible. "mam sino ba sa qatar? ang sabi ko wala pa dahil we are suppose to travel together but unfortunately we are here in philippines and my husband in UK. our visa was issued at the same time as family visa. sabi nila patawagin na lang daw ang husband ko sa embassy to explain to him. i don't think so, malumanay pa ako pero pag ang husband ko he will freak out the only son nya kaya ang pinaguusapan dito kaya mga ka cheka sa QL please help me i need somebody to talk to nanginginig ang mga taba taba ko.

we've got our work resident visa today and i print it in english. regarding certification at the qatar embassy here in philippines what do i need? how long it will take? i will travel with my 4 yrs old son.please kingly if anyone could give me the latest on this qatar visa certification. and what do it need for the naia.

hello mga kababayan! i need some updated infos regarding business visa authentication... im still here in saudi arabia and i already got my business visit visa for 1 month but because of unforeseen circumstances, i have to come home first in the philippines before going there... so i need to undergo authentication process sa pinas... if i'll be going from here (saudi arabia), wala sanang komplikadong process pa na pagdadaanan...

anyways, are all those infos listed above still applicable up to this time? if not, what are the changes? i'll just list some infos that i need...

1.) medical exam

2.) documents required for authenticating the business visit visa

3.) payments other than terminal fee/travel tax at the airport (gusto ko kasi malaman kung totoo ba yung naririnig-rinig ko na lagay sa airport)

take note ko lang po na BUSINESS VISIT VISA FOR ONE (1) MONTH ung visa ko... pauwi ako ng pinas ngayong august 11 at gusto ko sana makaalis by august 31... i need these information para mapadali ang pag-alis ko... maraming salamat sa inyong lahat!!! appreciate your posts in this thread...

As per my searching to help me on finidng ways on how to send documents at Qatar emabassy manila, I found you this. Your convesartion about procedure on how is the process in Qatar embassy authentication.

If you don't mind me asking, do you know what is the exact address of Al Habeishi? Is Qatar embassy still accepting agency to process documents on them? If you also know Al habeishi contact number can you please send it to me.

I do need help this time coz I dont know if DHL amount id fair enough for  the documents, that's why I need a second opinion.

sumtimes it was a gamble to get bussiness visa ,,,if the purpose was not intended for bussiness,,,,,ingats din please make sure that the one that will issued u a visa was a reliable person,,,,welcome to doha in advance,,,,bon voyage!!!!

not all DHL branches are Wide Wide World  affiliated,  u need to look  for a DHL w/c has  a WWW  logo affiliation.....sorry for not mentioning it earlier........check WWW express or DHL   website for branches

No offense on that gt. , but it was also based on my experience, i just came from the Phils. 2 weeks ago under : "Business Visit Visa"  noted  "One Visit" which is good for  1 month only.

My friend however came under " Business Visa" June last Year and was given 3 mos.,   she took the Medical Exam unlike me.....

although both are business visa , both have diff. requirements, it makes sense though....(if u will be here for just a meeting or stay for just a few days then y should do u need to get a medical exam)

I think they might require to take a medical if u will stay for more than a month.....

DHL head office knows which requires which, please clearly state what visa do u hold........for clarifications u can call  Qatar Embassy in the Phils. also

 help me please just today i went to sm mall (sta rosa laguna) there is DHL outlet there but the receptionist said not all DHL outlet are sending docs to qatar embassy pls help

Jack Bauer said no need for medical clearance on "Business Visa" This seems to be contrary to my own experience as well to all my staff who came to Doha on Business visa from Manila. The Qatar Embassy-accredited agency (Al Habeishi) that process visa authentication required us to have medical clearance which is submitted together with a copy of the business visa and original passport for authentication.

ur ticket can be an e-ticket meaning they can email to u just print it then ian na ian ishow mo at d airport na. There's no need to go to any airline office anymore. Just ask ur sponsor about it.

Hi Chingkay!

1)  You don't need medical for a "Businesss Visit Visa"  ( 30 days- one time visa )  However if you have plans to go there to work, it is also ok  to have a medical in the Phils. at a Qatar embassy accredited hospital )

 2) Once ur visa is approved, and u got  a printed copy (thru internet) all u need is to coordinate with DHL ( Wide Wide World express), they will ask you to give them a copy of your printed visa from Qatar Immigration website and your passport - make sure u have a  photo copy of both )  - Qatar Embassy  in the Phils. dont entertain visa applicant directly it is a must to coordinate with DHL, bet. P 500 to P 1,000 is DHL fee.( U can call them for exact amt. )  Don't worry about ur docs, DHL will take care of it, Qatar Embassy will process and a Certification will be issued to you and delivered by DHL in less than 2 weeks the most, usuall its 7 to 10 days.

3) Once u get ur pasport back plus the Cert. from Qatar Embassy all u have to do is to book ur ticket to ur Airline, and have it stickered and ur all set to go ( u can call ur airline if u have some more questions )Please check also if travel tax is already paid together with the ticket otherwise coordinate with ur airline, better pay it now instead of paying in the airport.

 4) terminal Fee is P 750.00, (again make sure travel tax is already paid)

u can bring at least 20kgs. for your checked in baggage plus handcarry.

depending on how long u will stay, bring all important stuff, documents, clothes, etc.  make sure  it is below 20 kgs.

5)Money, again it depends on how long u wud stay, if u dont have any problem with ur food expenses , board and lodging, then just bring enough for ur daily needs, taxi fare, etc. ( about $200.00 maybe enough for a month)  if u have credit card or ATM it will be helpful - NO SHOW MONEY NEEDED

6) At the airport-be there 4 or 3 hrs. before flight  a) Enter the departure area gate  b) inside,go to your air line to have ur baggaged checked in, pay terminal fee, next go to immmigration  and go to assigned plane departure gate.

Thats it.... 

1. Yes, you need to get medical clearance  at Angelus Medical Clinic, Rufino St. or at Physicans diagnostic Center at UN.Ave Ermita, Manila

2. medical exam fee for business visa is around P1,600

3. your sponsor in qatar will have to give you the PTA (pre-paid ticket arrangement) number and go the main office of the issuing airline ticket to get the original ticket. (or just bring the electronic PTA to the airline check-in counter at the airport and they will issue you the ticket)

4.of course DHL is safe, or you can bring your medical exam results, pasport copy and business visa copy to Al Habeishi, Ermita Roxas Blvd. (qatar embassy accredited agency) to process your visa authentication.

5.Passport, authenticated visa copy, ticket, dont bring any liquid, gel, toothpaste, perfume, no porn mags, karneng baboy, drugs etc

6.No need for show money if you are travelling on a business visa but of course some pocket money would be appropriate.

7. terminal yata noon e P750, pay travle tax of P1,600 at the airline ticketing

Your employer should be able to help you out with all that..if you have a good one that is!
