Will Qatar be doing its bit for the environment?
'On Saturday, March 29, 2008, Earth Hour invites people around the world to turn off their lights for one hour – from 8:00pm to 9:00pm in their local time zone. On this day, cities around the world, including Copenhagen, Chicago, Melbourne, Dubai, and Tel Aviv, will hold events to acknowledge their commitment to energy conservation.'
What do you all think, will Qatar join the world in raising awareness for energy conservation?
Since Earth Hour is in it's 2nd year, not many countries, individuals and businesses have signed up to participate yet.
On the other hand, we too can make a difference, no matter where on Earth we are. I'm doing my part from 8-9pm tonight. :)
we had conference about that but will they gonna do it really ? hmmm maybe... maybe not.
I have my earht hour everyday :D
No in Qatar, we will switch on all the lights to show the world we are different.
