What would you miss if you left Qatar???

thexonic
By thexonic

Fact: Whoever leaves Qatar, weather its for vacation or forever... they miss it. Atleast the people i know miss it and they dont just miss it, they miss it bad. Even thou they used to say Qatar is not soo much fun, but in then they ended up missing it. So what would u guys miss about Qatar?

For me I'd miss it alot too, I have alot of memories from my childhood and highschool days. But most of all I'll miss the QLSG events. 2 months ago when I wasnt this active on Qatar Living, my best friends were in Qatar and then they left, so I was thinking about leaving too. But then I became active on QL and It's one of the best things i've done in my life. The kind of people or friends i've been looking for are right here in QL. Which is really amazing, but then it is sad in a way that I am soo connected to this site and the people here, that I would regret loosing it all. Hence I decided to stay here... Just cuz QL gave me a new reason for the new beginning.

I would miss Qatar in much the same way as I missed living in Jeddah and Iraq because I LOVE to live in places which are so totally different to Europe!   It's great to be in a 'growing' culture and the country and people around the place are, to me, exciting and colourful to mix with.

Most of all I would miss the people I have met through QL because there's just no WAY back in the UK would I (a lady of a certain age) have the opportunity to join in with the variety of age groups I meet here and am accepted into!  You are all wonderful, generous people.

Oh, and when I go to the swimming pool I just KNOW I would hate to live in a cold climate for the rest of my days - but what to do!?

Hmmm, what I would miss, other than the big bucks rolling into my bank account (which hasnt happened yet...LOL), yes, I would certainly miss the QL Group that has given me absolute happiness in all the times that I have had ever in Qatar, arguably the best Time...as much as I do say Qatar is naaa...but still, life goes on here, and trust me when I say this, I wouldnt say life goes on if it were not for QL and the people I have met through QL...so 3 Cheers to QL, hip hip hurray (to the power of 3 times...LOL), and ofcourse lastly a special mention goes out to all the wonderful and lovely ladies here on QL (seriously, I wouldnt know what I would do without you folks on QL...LOL...)but yes, on a much serious note, Qatar I would miss you little, but Qatar Living I would miss you lots and lots and only lots...

Cheers...people/// (wasnt I touching with my sentences...LOL)...;)
