There have been numerous posts on the above, so from the available info there is a riding stable called Al SHaqab...(apparently closed for renovation).
Equesterian club...I have no contact details can someone help please with contact details (and possible prices)!
I called one of the stables last weekend and they said anyone can come in and ride for a fee. However, have to take your own gear, shoes and all.
I don't have any here. Left them back home. Is it easy to get shoes custom made here? or are ready mades suitable. Though i'm sure they must be wayyyy to expensive
Theres some at sealine hehehe, seriously though, behind Aspire there are stables with horses obviously, now I was wondering whether this was a riding school or are they privately owned? anyone know? Plus these look like proper riding horses!
The equestrian club is in Rayyan. I know there is a lot of road works going on and do not really know which roads are open, but lets assume all the roads are open. Get a map and follow my instructions. When going to Villagio. Continue straight. At the round about (which I know there is work now) turn right. Go next roundabout straight. The roundabout following that the equestrian club is on the left. Big arch gate type entrance. Go in there and turn right. (left or rather said straight is to the race track)There is a gate there go in there.
Shaqab stable is a little harder to find. Again assume all roads are open and look on a map. Take the new road which goes from Al Waab traffic light north. first roundabout - straight, 2nd rdbt straight, 3rd rdbt turn left. next rdbt straight. next little roundabout turn right and first street left. Go along this street past all the shops untill you see a very small street on the right which is called .....al shaqab. Go in there, drive thru the gates untill you come to the stables. This is a beautiful place. I have not been there several years, but I used to go there in the afternoon and just sit there in the sun and watch the horses. It is a breeding stable and lots of activity with all the horses. The riding stable used to be at the end in a castle type building, which I heard is closed now.
