I don't believe in trying to remain friends, best to walk away, move on and never think or speak to them again.

The percentage is very low, but some do remain friends. I find it's best just to move on with your life.

it's hard NOT to adore you..lol...

King, you are really lucky then.. I wish you never experience these kinds of feelings, although I am sure everyone has to go through it at least once in the life time… it develops new qualities, it discovers new sides of you, which you couldn’t even imagine you have …

I also believe that ANY experience , either “good” or “bad”, is beneficial.

caprocornian i think it is possible that lovers can be lovers again that's why they have come up with the saying that "Love is sweeter the second time around" becos it is possible for a second chance.

well according to my experience with my ex we were good friends after we broke up for some years and then she just wanted to get in the sack with me again and have this totally "no commitment" sorta relationship and tempting as that is for any guy i couldnt accept it. Of course our reasons for breakup was from my side. :) now we are just on hi and how are u terms.

my point as well ... the reasons for breaking up ... will for sure decide later how would these two be later ... knowing that it would be the best thing ... for both ... shall make it easier and only time ... will bring them back again as only friends ... life is so sad and hard, sometimes even with fighting for everything ... you will be shocked that it was not enough though ...

Well... it depends on the gravity and the effect to the aggrieved party.  In time you can be friends but definitely not overnite.

it depends.. on why (reason) you became EX(es).. i mean if the reason, left you a scar emotionally, and really damage your past or your life with him.. why should i consider befriending him... but as they say, in time everything heals..

definitely! sometimes, it is better if you end you releationship  and just be friends.  it happens that after your releationship, you can be best of best of best of friends and you don't have to pretend that everything is ok, you can be yourself with a friend.

Yes, but not if one of the people involved is still completely obsessed with the relationship and keeps posting about it on an website.

Many girls ditch their old BF's when they find more handsome/hot/rich (whatever reason) and want to be friends with the old one...that's really mean. I feel sorry for those guys who loved then sincerely.

"ALL, except of 2" ?? wow! LOL...

me too... i usually don't mind to stay friends, specially if he is a "helpful guy with the the benefits"..lol...

... only one guy couldn't overstep our break-up, and stopped talking to me forever... just cut it off, like I am not existing, or like I have died.. well... it's his choice...I think it's easier for him this way...

If you really loved a person and you had to break up for some inevitable reason, then its possible.

Most cases it is one person who ends the relation… in that case it won’t work.
