i'm flying from abu dhabi to libya through Doha and , i'm a libyan citizent , i will be speding about 10 hours in Doha airport , i was wondering if it would be possible to obtain a transit visa for one day in Doha airport? and do i have to show a hotel booking in order to get one?
You could take a taxi and roam the Corniche or eat in the restaurant strip across from the airport. This isn't Saudi Arabia (where you need a transit visa). I think you can get a vistors visa right at the airport. There may be some nationality restrictions so you better check.
You can quickly check from the airport if you can avail it right there. I'm sure and hope you can. But with only 10 hours, where would you want to spend that here? That's another question.
Although, the airport itself can make you busy reading, eating, shopping and roaming around for 10 hours...
