You can ask how to get a job, i.e. ways but dont upfront ask for a job here. I can understand your position and situatiuon. Try Head Hunters and classified. Have faith and best of luck.

What a desperate move.... not a good idea.

All i can say are:

1. Wait. Patience. It takes time.

2. Be picky with the job and the work you're applying for, but at a reasonable level

3. If you're looking for help from others, first step is to listen to what they are suggesting or advicing you. And that means, post your need in the proper forum.

4. Go to www.gulftalent.com, www.monstergulf.com, the peninsula and gulf times classified ads, go to google, search for IT companies in qatar (or whatever) and do a walk in.

5. You cant just expect strangers online to offer you help in a silver platter.

6. Weight your qualifications, if you're fresh off college back in the Philippines, it will be very difficult for you, that is natural. Experience and skills are very essential. It's one of your weapons in this side of the world.

There is one poster here in the past who's an electonics eng'r, have 2 yrs experience in a telco in Manila, risked going to qatar, hoping he will arrive in flying colors and company will dive into him. too bad, he also seemed to have attitude problems (normal for ambitious kiddos). months passed, no job, went back home to the philippines, unsuccessful.

cheers

Posting  your name and qualifications in the gulf times is not a good idea ( i think )  because first, you will be paying  a lot of money just  for a small post  for a day or more

and second,  99% of HR Managers dont read newspaper classified ads too look for their employees,   they let the applicants come to them and not the other way around.......

so think carefully,  but it is just my opinion, its up to you.........depends on your luck.......

Most big companies, prefer those with   5 years or more work experience,  if u dont have this , it will be very hard.......unless u have a friend in the management or HR dept.

I have the same situation during my 1st 2 weeks here but after i get a job on the start of the 3rd week,  companies began to call in......

from my experience  ur best hope is really on the classified ads , because they will not spend lots of bucks  just to post  in Gulf times unless  its really urgent  ----------- and not through posting of emails  in big companies,  it may take months before they notice and call you.

Good Luck !!!!
