Ei guys, i am planning to buy between 2008 Subaru Forester (Qrs. 67,500) and 2007 Nissan Altima (QRs. 63,000). Both are brand new and on promotion. Which should I choose and why? Need your advice... thanks...
The altima has zero ground clearance, specially when you have to DRIVE around a pothole or a speed-bump, in the Altima you have ZIG ZAG avoiding to scrape the bottom of your car. Both cars, when it comes to luxury are equal. Do you know Mexican Judo? Could you run faster than 2,550 FPS?
they have 5 years warranty in subaru and buyback guarantee! go for subaru! All wheel symmetrical drive! besides, subaru is the premium brand in japanese, and it s above nissan...
well, about the service, does anyone know which dealership offers the best and cheapest service anyway!?
i think all dealerships here in doha are experiencing some problems in their services (aftersales) due to the steep climb of their retail sales growth... the cars they sell each year has to be supported by after sales... what happens is that they sell more than they can really support... which is why they try to increase their servicing costs in order to pay for their manpower and improve facilities
Subaru is consider a SUV.Nissan Altima is consider a sedan.Depending on you taste and driving style of AW or FW cars?4 cylinder banger vs 4 cylinder turbo?Subaru is a very reliable family car, lots of safety specs and roomier in the front and back. It has lots of space for cargo. Depends on your taste. If, I had to decide between both cars, Ill pick the forester for the ground clearance and his AW drive capability, It has lots of safety specs, I'll prefer to have the turbo version for a little more speed when need it.Currently the Subaru dealer ship in Doha is Offering a 2 year free oil/filter change. That is extra money in the pocket. The Nissan Altima is just a sedan with lots of Gadgets, is a bit luxurious, but If you have to drive to work to the industrial area where there is hundreds of potholes, you will appreciate the ground clearance. The Subaru is #1 vehicle for lots of outdoors people and doctors in the USA. It offers a great variety of accessories like bicycle rack etc, etc.The Nissan in Doha has a better resale price because of the name only. As for the Forester, when you are confident enough on your decision and driving style, you will notice the difference in handling, due to the Individual suspension and handling performance of AW in the roads. The forester has the same luxury gadgets equal to the Nissan Altima. Good luck in your decision. I'll recommend you, to read up in the specifications and safety record of both cars. Both cars in Doha, have to be service at the dealership in the industrial area.
