I just got my offer from QP .... the process is a little bit long but they will get back to you. I applied for the job on the qp website and 3 months after that I got an email inviting me for a phone interview ... after doing the phone interview I had to wait another 3 months and got another email inviting me for a site interview ... I've gone to Qatar and did my interview, medical, and HR interview and a week after that I got my offer letter by email ... I'm waiting now for my RP(VISA) which I've been told might take up to 6 weeks ... so, the whole process is going to take 9 months until I begin working ... hope this helps ...let me know if you need any more info ...and Good Luck.

QP used to be respected but no longer is, better to work for Rasgas or Qatargas, higher wages, better benefits etc. etc. They are on the decline.
After some of the experiences QP have had by NOT taking up references, they will take up every reference.
If you have nothing to hide, why be worried?
