Qtel and Skype credits

With reference to earlier posts on QL about Qtel blocking payments for credits on Skype, I would like to ask:

- Does this blocking occur only when you use credit cards issued in Qatar, or does it affect credit cards issued abroad as well?

If foreign credit cards are not affected, I guess there is no reason to pay thru Paypal (unless you already have a paypal account).

Any updated feedback on this would be appreciated, thanks.

After your feedback I tried yesterday with my (foreign) credit card and it worked just fine. Thank you all for your input.

Q Tel is not against VOIP but it seems to be against people making a

business from it.

Not even through paypal. Never had a problem.

i use my qatari credit card to fund a paypal account to buy skype credit.

unless you have a credit card issued by Qtel, how can they stop you from buying skype credit.

i was having some problems for a week or two with my account, but it was because of skype and paypal.
