Who will shoulder the PENALTY?
By donald_duc168 •
I been thinking, what if a friend of mine borrow my car and he incurred traffic violation? And this friend of mine suddenly denies such action and says that he is not responsible for such... can I run after him? let say a penalty is as much as 10,000 Qatari Riyals.
:)
hey, have you seen a pomeranian and terrier mix? They call it designer dogs here. Very cute, like chewbaka baby look alike.
Sean Connery speaks with a gorgeous Scottish accent, mmmm!!
More like erm?? let me think about this one, Tony Blair lol xx
That sounds interesting, really. So, do you speak with a lets say, Sean Connery accent?
Means they already have enough money, sorry, it's an English phrase LOL xx
wouldn't recommend a bicycle either unless your going to ride on the sidewalk!!! Way too risky xx
I dont know anything about that place, just curious.
I do appologize, I am not familiar with "short of a bob or two themselves eh," could you pls clarify. Did you mean "its jacked up"
I think I will just ride a bicycle when I get there.
wouldn't like to take the chance here, white envelopes may work in some places but here?? really wouldn't like to say, them being not short of a bob or two themselves eh xx BTW hi Javi xx
So, just wondering then, is this one of those countries that under the table white envelop is more efficient just like in some, ok ok , MOST, less fortunate countries?
yes, needless to say it made him so angry, n Smoke, the thing you say PROOF?? didn't work in this case, he had his passport stamped to say he was out of the country and still they argued!!
yup
My friend was not even in the country when he was fined for speeding, he took proof to the police that he was out of the country and still ended up paying the fine!!!
The car was sitting gathering dust at the time the police said he was speeding!!!
Morning shaky ass cat xxxx
Is this an option? Of course if the fee is less than the actual penalty, then it might be wise.
Any friends in the police dept?
Any friends with blackwater?
ofcours u will pay coz ur car ur friend
its always better not to give your car to anyone... and good or bad.. you have to pay the fine or a fine on delay will also be imposed...
in the world of crime my friend PROOF is everything if you have proof that he did the violation then yes of course u can make him pay for it...but if u dont then bad luck. thats just the way the pussy says meow..oh wait its "thats just the way the cookie crumbles"

You will not pay for the violation done by your friend but for giving your car to someone else...
Nevertheless, u will pay.

Martin Luther King.
If he is your friend he wouldn't argue....
If you can prove it was him well hope you come right. Learned the same lesson a long time ago and now am one false friend less.
this is a good precaution... I think lending cars is not always a good gesture of friendship, it may lead to something else....I don't know that they have the 60days grace period for penalty... thank you all for the advice
KEEP YOUR FAITH ALIVE
u will pay.
Remember I think you get fined every day if the penalty is not paid after 60 days not many people are aware of this extra fine on top of the ticket.
Normally you can ask for a picture of the offence and then prove to your friend, this is the risk of loaning out cars here. Especially given how high the fines are.
Unless you have a police report stating who was driving at the time of the violation, the penalty will be borne by the person whose name appears on the vehicle registration card.
If your friend is really sure he did not commit a violation, maybe you can contest the no contact citation at the traffic department. They will review the citation and video/photo of the incident.
But if your friend is lying, prepare the QR10,000. And be ready to sever your ties with your friend.
does this means that i have to file formal charges against him?
but you will have to pay the penality ;-0
